Versatile dicers, slicers and cutters

All-round dicers and slicers are capable of cutting, slicing, shredding and dicing products depending on the configuration of the machine’s tooling. Cutters are designed to cut products using a reciprocating knife or blade or by using a rotary knife. Slicers, on the other hand, can slice elongated products with a number of knife blades. The thickness of the slice can be changed by adjusting the product infeed rate and the rotary knife tooling rate. 

Dicers cut the product into small cubes (dice). They take in products of a given thickness, they cut them into long strips and cross-cut the strips to create cubes.

Flakers

Flakers (shredders) can reduce frozen blocks of food product into smaller, more uniform and processable pieces and create elongated pieces of product with a certain cross-sectional size and length. It is a pre-procedure for a cutting and mixing machine and for the meat grinding process.
