Barsso offers different kinds of industrial cookers : continuous cookers (cooking lines) and batch cookers (cooking vessels or process vessels). We also offer trolley cookers (cooking cabinets). Blanching is a cooking process intended to enhance the colour, flavour, and texture of vegetables. Blanched vegetables are quickly cooked in boiling water or steamed before being shocked by a plunge into a cold bath which arrests the cooking process. There are different types of blancher equipment: belt blanchers, drum blanchers (or rotary blanchers) and screw blanchers. Pasteurization is a heat treatment used to destray disease producing bacteria. It also greatly reduces the number of micro organisms. Pasteurization can be done in batch pasteurizers for small quantities or by means of continuous flow pasteurizers for larger daily production. An autoclave is a vessel in which high temperatures can be achieved by using high pressure (like the domestic pressure cooker). The machine is mainly used for sterilization of food and canned food.
The hot air oven is a belt oven for preparing food products. It has got a conveyor belt on which the food products can be arranged and this belt runs through a housing . The heating elements and booster devices generate a stream of hot air through the housing. In the housing there are elements to guide the stream of hot air over the belt in such a way that the products are uniformly heated in the transverse direction of the belt.
