Barsso’s way of working when selling industrial food equipment
- Where are all these industrial food machines stored?
Unlike brokers who work from their home or their car, Barsso actually has invested in a big warehouse and in a large inventory. Most of our machines are in our 5,000 m² warehouse in Zwevegem (Belgium).
Although, some of our machines are so specialised that we do not want to take them in stock. In those cases we sell them against commission.
- Can I view these machines?
- In addition to the many pictures and detailed descriptions on the website, we invite you to come and see the machines in our warehouse. Please do make an appointment by phone or e-mail.
- Can you send me a brochure or a catalogue?
- Our best catalogue is our website. We show a short description and some pictures of the machines we have available. The website is weekly updated.
Unlike some other dealers we insist that all pictures are authentic: ‘what you see, is what you get’.
- Does Barsso also sell new machines?
- Sometimes we do not have the right used food equipment available. To be able to serve all our customers we are also dealers for new food industry machines such as barmixers, sauce-masters and lazy Susans at very sharp prices.
- Does Barsso finance machines?
- We do not finance machines. All of our capital is dedicated to purchasing and inventorying. Yet, we would gladly work together with your leasing company and/or bank.
- Can I offer my surplus machines to Barsso?
- Barsso always buys machines of good quality for inventory. Please send us an e-mail with details, pictures and a price if you desire to sell your machine.
- Does Barsso sell machines for restaurants, bakeries or butchers?
- While we sometimes have a small number of machines such as Hobart mixers, small formers or laboratory autoclaves, this is not our core business. Our focus is in buying and selling industrial food equipment with a large capacity of hundreds to thousands of kilograms per hour.
- In what kind of condition are the machines which Barsso sells?
- There are 3 main categories of conditions:
- ‘as is’: the machine is not overhauled and will be sold in the condition as it is
- ‘in good working order’: the machine has passed our workshop, where our skilled staff have checked the machine and have done the necessary to put the machine in good working order
- ‘completely overhauled’: everything in the machine has been stripped; checked and thoroughly rebuilt to the exact standards
Descriptions like “in good condition”, “in very good condition” or condition: “As New” only refer to the cosmetics of the machines.
